ABOUT DENIS LINNIK
Denis Linnik was born in 1995 in Marina Gorka, Belarus. During last years as a soloist he became a laureate of several international competitions like Città di Cantú Piano and Orchestra competition (I Prize and Audience Prize, Cantú, 2018), Horovitz Piano Competition (V Prize, Kiev, 2017), Delphic Games (Gold Medal, St. Petersburg, 2016), Piano Competition in S.Prokofiev's Native Land (I Prize, Donetsk, 2013), Alemdar Karamanov Competition (II Prize, Simferopol, 2012).
He won also some special awards: Special Prize of European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (2017); Special Prize of Conservatoire de Puteaux Jean-Baptiste Lully, Puteaux, France (2017); main Scholarship of the Belarus President's Special Fund (2009, 2011, 2014).
His orchestra biography includes performances with Crimea State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Brest Symphony Orchestra, Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, String Orchestra "Metamorphose", M. Jora Philharmonic Orchestra etc
In 2019 Denis took part at IMS Prussia Cove (UK), where he had lessons with professors Ferenc Rados and Rita Wagner. Receives a scholarship from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and participates in the Intensive Music Weeks and activities offered by the Academy.
Since 2017 he lives and studies under tutorship of Professor Claudio Martínez Mehner in Basel, Switzerland.
In December 2018 Denis with Jose Luis Ingles Martinez (clarinet) and Dmitry Smirnov (violin) founded a chamber music project Camerata Rhein.
